First Selectman Candidates to Debate In Brookfield: Report

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Whisconier Middle School will host a debate between Brookfield's First Selectman candidates, reports the News Times. The debate will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and the doors open at 6:45 p.m.

The debate will feature incumbent First Selectman Steve Dunn, a Democrat, against Republican challenger Harry Shaker.

Shaker has served on the Board of Education for 14 years. The debate is being sponsored by the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce.
