GreenDrop of Brookfield Celebrates Earth Day with Dunkin' Donuts Gift Cards

GreenDrop will offer three donors gift cards after making a donation to the organization's center on Federal Rd.

On Earth Day, Friday, April 22 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., GreenDrop LLC, the organization transforming the way consumers support national charities through the donation of gently used, unwanted goods and clothing, will celebrate Earth Day by offering three lucky donors Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards after making a donation to their center on Federal Rd.

To underscore the company’s commitment to the community and the environment, GreenDrop invites residents in and around Brookfield to stop by the GreenDrop center at 15 Federal Rd on April 22 to receive a special "thank you" for their part in keeping more than 100 tons of textiles out of US landfills each week.

Providing consumers with a safe and easy alternative to dealing with suspicious donation bins, GreenDrop’s model allows donors to pull into the location on Federal Road where they are greeted by a friendly attendant who unloads their donation and offers a tax-deductible receipt. From there, collected donations are either sold to thrift stores to benefit GreenDrop’s partner charities: the Military Order of the Purple Heart or National Federation of the Blind or given a second life through recycling and repurposing.
