Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Brookfield

Find out details from the National Weather Service on when we might see storms, flooding and strong wind gusts in the Brookfield area.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Friday’s still a couple of days away but that hasn’t stopped the National Weather Service from issuing a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for all of southern Connecticut already. In the “Hazardous Weather Outlook” statement, the National Weather Service says southern CT can expect “showers and thunderstorms ahead of a cold front and wave of low pressure may produce heavy rain capable of flooding and strong wind gusts.”

There is also a chance of storms each day this weekend in CT. Before we get to the weekend we’re still dealing with a heatwave on Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures will be around 90 degrees both days with sunny skies.

Wednesday: Sunny with temps near 90 degrees.
Thursday: Sunny with temps again near 90 degrees.
Friday: Showers and thunderstorms expected after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s. More storms possible Friday night.
Saturday: Partly sunny with temps in the mid 80s. Chance of showers at night.
Sunday: Partly sunny with a chance of showers in the afternoon and some thunderstorms possible at night.
