• CT residents join ‘ICE Out for Good' weekend protests after fatal shooting of Renee Good (ctpublic.org) — Brookfield is among about a dozen Connecticut communities where ‘ICE Out for Good’ protests were planned, tying local actions to a nationwide response after the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis. A major Fairfield demonstration drew more than 100 people, with speakers denouncing ICE, the Trump administration’s immigration policies, and what they see as growing threats to democracy and public safety. Organizers say weekly protests will continue.
