Party Affiliation: Republican
Occupation: Operations Manager - 15 years
Previous public office, appointive or elective: Currently serving on the Board of Finance
Why are you seeking this office? To advocate for fiscal responsibility to ensure a that Brookfield is strong and affordable for all while continuing to make sure we have a balanced budget to secure a thriving and affordable town and school system.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it: the rising costs of everyday items which is why I am seeking re-election to be a part of the decision process that manages town finances and funds essential services for our town, taxpayers and school system.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post? I have consistently proven to the people of Brookfield that even though I run on a Republican ticket and I have a conservative fiscal view that I work well with everyone on all boards regardless of party affiliation. I believe when you are elected you serve the entire town, not just your political party. I am a team player whose end goal is to make Brookfield the best place to live.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign? To make the new police department not just something we continue to talk about but a reality. I believe we can do this with the right people on the Board of Finance.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job? My current position as an Operations Manager for a retail store that has three locations that spans over three states requires me to find creative ways to problem solve and think outside of the box.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you? It is actually a quote versus advice "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything"
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions? I moved to Brookfield in 2006. I loved this town from the second I arrived. It was not until 2015 that I thought it would be a good idea to get involved on a town level, I did not win that election, but I came back in 2019 and tried again, successfully obtaining a seat on the Board of Finance. I want to keep Brookfield feeling like it still has the small town feel while rising to the challenges of the growth we face in the coming years. My son graduated in 2023 from BHS. I used to say after he graduated, I would move on, but this community has taken a hold of my heart in ways I cannot explain - in good times and in bad - I am so proud to call Brookfield my home.
