Currently on Brookfield Zoning Board of Appeals; Previously Chairman of New Milford Ethics Commission until moving to Brookfield in 2020
Why are you seeking this office?
I recently sold my business which has been located in Brookfield since 1996. My wife Gigi and I moved to Brookfield five years ago after 20 years in New Milford. After many years on town committees, I would like to step up and serve in a capacity to help the Town of Brookfield manage its finances.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Financial security and keeping taxes manageable. My experience in financial management of my own business for 20 years as well as working closely with the New Milford Board of Finance during my time there will help the Town keep taxes low while paying for a new school and needed Police and Library updates.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
My experience with multi-million dollar projects over many years gives me the background to plan tax expenses over time.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Capital planning.
