Two Brookfield Board Members Resign: Report

A member of the Board of Education and the Board of Finance are stepping down from their posts.

BROOKFIELD, CT — There are two new vacancies on town boards, after a member of the board of finance and the board of education resigned this week, reports the News Times. Tara Lerner resigned from the Board of Education and Mark Zerbe resigned from the Board of Finance.

Both are democrats and moving out of town. Residents interested in the open Board of Education position should submit an application by July 14, and the new member's term will run until Dec. 4. Those interested in the Board of Finance should submit a resume and letter to the board.
