WCSU Hosts Open House for Prospective Students

Western Connecticut State University, which serves Brookfield, Bethel, Danbury area students, is planning its annual Open House.

DANBURY, CT — Western Connecticut State University will host its annual Open House from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, and all prospective students and their families are invited to attend.

The event will begin in the Feldman Arena of the William O’Neill Athletic and Convocation Center on the university’s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. Registration is recommended; go to www.wcsu.edu to register online.

“We are excited to greet all the prospective students and their families at our upcoming Open House,” said Jay Murray, interim associate vice president for Enrollment Services. “We expect more than 600 families in attendance at this year’s event.”

The Open House will include breakfast, tours of the Midtown and Westside campuses, including the Visual and Performing Arts Center, and informational sessions. Guests will also meet with faculty and other representatives from WCSU academic programs, student groups and administrative offices. The event is free and open to the public.
