CANTON — An Avon resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Canton earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On October 18, Wilbur Schweiger Jr., of Avon purchased a $100,000 Cashword 11 ticket from the Canton Citgo Quik Mart and won $10,000.

CANTON — An Avon resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Canton earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On October 18, Wilbur Schweiger Jr., of Avon purchased a $100,000 Cashword 11 ticket from the Canton Citgo Quik Mart and won $10,000.
