CANTON, CT — Two local teens spent part of their Memorial Day weekend beautifying the headquarters of the Town of Canton Fire & EMS Department.

The duo, who are members of the Canton Fire Cadets program, "went above and beyond by constructing a new mulch bed at Station 1," wrote the department.

Cadets Nick Graziano and Vinny Scalzo are budding firefighters/EMTs who spent time over the weekend helping out their department at the 51 River Road facility, which only opened up last year.
