CANTON/PLAINVILLE, CT — The Canton Fire & EMS Department embarked on a mutual aid call Wednesday night that showed just how important it is to have eyes in the sky.

That's because Canton firefighters helped the Plainville Fire Company tackle a large brush fire courtesy of a drone that was donated to Canton a couple of years ago.

According to Canton fire officials, the intense blaze was in a hard-to-reach area in Plainville.
