Show Off Your Decorated Home In Canton Holiday House Light Contest

CANTON, CT — Folks still have a few days to sign up for the 2025 Canton Holiday House Lights Contests and see if your decorations stack up with the others.

"Time to break out the string lights, tinsel, and yard decorations for this year's Holiday House Lights Contest," wrote the Canton Parks and Recreation Department, which is organizing the contest.

"This contest is the perfect time to show off the hard work and creativity you and your family put into getting your house decorated for the holidays."

Entry forms are available online through noon on Monday, Dec. 22. Click here for the 2025 Entry Form.

That same day, judging of the entries and public viewing will take place on Monday, Dec. 22, from 5 to 9 p.m.

This year's award categories are "Most Spirited," "Most Creative," and "Traditional."

There will also be a "Fan Favorite" category in which the public will be voting on their favorite holiday house lights.

This contest is open to Canton/Collinsville residents only.
