Canton Forum To Address Kids' Screen Time

The free program on Wednesday, Oct. 2, is for parents/guardians in all area towns.

CANTON, CT — Parents and caregivers from all over the area are invited to Canton on Wednesday, Oct. 2, for a special workshop about how digital screens impact children.

Organized by the national organization "Screenstrong," which works to combat the negative effects of tablets, smartphones and, even, video games, the program is for those 18 and up.

Called "Kids' Brains & Screens," the program will take place in the Canton Community Center, 40 Dyer Ave., Canton.

Though located in Canton, the program is open to anyone in area towns and it will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP via a QR code on the event flyer.
