Canton Library Movie Night To Feature Pizza, Hide-And-Seek

The free event on Friday, Jan. 10, will include a showing of the hit 2024 animated film 'Wild Robot.'

CANTON, CT — If you have young children and you're looking for something fun to do on a Friday night to cure the winter doldrums, the Canton Public Library has a deal for you.

The library's children's department is hosting a showing of the hit 2024 animated Dreamworks film "Wild Robot" on Friday, Jan. 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. for families and children aged 4 and up.

But this isn't just a movie showing. There's more.

The event, hosted by Meghan Glasgow, the teen librarian, and Heather Baker, head of children's services, will include pizza.

And, the library reports, the night could end with a game of "Hide-And-Seek" at the library, which is located at 40 Dyer Ave., Canton.

While the event is free, the library is seeking registrants to gauge interest.
