Canton Planning Director: Retail Application Process 'Exhausting'
Canton's economic development agency chairperson Kevin Jackson added that developers have to jump through "265 fiery hoops' to bring their business to town, according to the Hartford Business Journal.

"We're building a model that says if your design comes within our parameters, we will take out the rubber stamp and approve it."
The HBJ reports that many of the participants called for clearer zoning regulations to prevent lengthy special permit hearings.
