Canton Seeks Volunteers With Convertibles To Drive Vets In Parade
Canton's Memorial Day Parade is May 27, with volunteers with convertibles being asked to drive veterans who can't march during the event.
CANTON, CT — The Town of Canton's Memorial Day parade is fast approaching and the town is looking for volunteers with convertibles to drive honored veterans in the parade on Monday, May 27.
The parade is at 10 a.m. that Monday and with many veterans unable to march, the town would like them to participate by riding in a convertible during the event.
But drivers are needed, according to local officials.
