CT Northstars To Compete In Exclusive Adidas Gold Gauntlet Circuit

The Adidas Gold Gauntlet Circuit is the premier showcase for elite boys and girls basketball teams in the U.S.

CT Northstars elite high school teams, based out of Canton, will be competing in the invitation-only Adidas Gold Gauntlet Circuit this spring. Led by head coach and co-owner Katie DaCosta, their 16U/10th Grade Girls will compete in the East Coast Circuit and their 15U/9th Grade, 16U/10th Grade and 17U/11th Grade Boys teams will compete in the West Coast Circuit. The CT Northstars are the only teams in Connecticut invited to participate in this exclusive competition.

The Adidas Gold Gauntlet Circuit is the premier showcase for elite boys and girls basketball teams in the United States, giving the nation’s next superstars the opportunity to showcase their talent. What sets the Adidas Gauntlet apart is their focus on developing well-rounded athletes and individuals by stressing game, life and world. It’s a perfect fit for CT Northstars, as DaCosta focuses on developing character and teamwork while teaching the fundamentals and mentoring today’s youth.

“I’m thrilled to have Katie, Ray and their family-owned business represent Canton and Connecticut on the national stage,” notes State Senator Lisa Seminara.
