Farmington Valley Health District To Host Another Flu Vax Clinic

CANTON, CT — A regional health department serving several area towns will host a flu clinic at its Canton headquarters next week.

Registrations are being accepted for the Farmington Valley Health District's flu vaccine clinic, which will take place Thursday, Oct. 26, at FVHD headquarters, 95 River Road, Canton.

The Farmington Valley Health District serves the towns of Avon, Barkhamsted, Canton, Colebrook, East Granby, Farmington, Granby, Hartland, New Hartford and Simsbury.

While Covid has been the dominant illness in recent years regarding vaccination talk, flu vaccines are also seen as key to avoiding serious illness during the cold-weather months.
