Farmington Valley Health Hosting Two Flu Shot Clinics
The clinics are for Avon, Barkhamsted, Canton, Colebrook, East Granby, Farmington, Granby, Hartland, New Hartford, and Simsbury.
CANTON, CT — The regional health district located in Canton, but serving 10 area towns, has openings for upcoming flu shot clinics and they're looking for folks to get vaccinated.
They are open to residents of the Farmington Valley Health District's 10-member towns of Avon, Barkhamsted, Canton, Colebrook, East Granby, Farmington, Granby, Hartland, New Hartford, and Simsbury.
The clinics are on Tuesday, Oct. 22, and Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Farmington Valley Health District, 95 River Road, Canton.

The Oct. 22 clinic is from 3 to 5:30 p.m., while the Oct. 30 clinic is from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The shots will help stave off the serious health impacts that flu can have on people, especially the elderly.

Doses for ages 18-64 and high doses for 65+ are also available.
