Get Your Bicycles Ready For Spring At Canton Library

The Canton Public Library Saturday afternoon is having a free program to help folks prep their bikes for the riding season.

CANTON, CT — The local library is hosting a special free program Saturday afternoon to help folks prepare their bicycles for the warm weather months coming up.

The BikeWalkCantonCT organization will be on hand from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. at the library, located at 40 Dyer Ave.

There, bicyclists will learn how to remove and re-install bicycle wheels and repair flat tires.

People are, even, asked to bring in their own bikes to enjoy a hands-on component to the demonstration, which will also include other maintenance tasks and inspection tips.

The goal is for local bicyclists to have safe bikes for when the weather really allows for enjoyable bicycle riding.
