
Larry Dubuc, who served as Canton High School's' athletic director for years, passed away May 16, the Collinsville Press reports.
Dubuc coached basketball, soccer, baseball and golf, and led many teams to championships, including Canton High's second-ever state title in 1959, the Collinsville Press article said.
He was a WWII veteran, and earned an education degree from UConn after completing his service, according to the Collinsville Press.
Dubuc leaves behind his wife Shirley (Ponte) Dubuc, son Donald Dubuc, daughter Terri Trainor and her husband Jack Trainor and two grandsons, Timothy Trainor and Tony Dubuc.
