Popular Canton Trail Closed Due To Fluid Spill: Police
The spill was attributed to some landscaping equipment being used at the time.

CANTON, CT — A popular hiking trail was closed late Wednesday morning due to a fluid spill associated with some landscaping equipment being used there.
According to the Canton Police Department, the Farmington River Trail was temporarily closed to the public between Commerce Drive and Albany Turnpike.
Police attributed the closure to a minor, contained fluid spill from landscaping equipment.

"Once cleanup efforts are completed, the trail will be reopened," wrote the CPD. "Thank you for your understanding and cooperation."
