(Update) Rain Postpones Substitutes Show but there's a Free Movie In Canton Tonight

Good morning Canton. Today is Thursday, Aug. 1. Here are a few things to know about Canton. 

1. The Substitutes show, slated for Mills Pond Park at 6:30 p.m., has been postponed until Aug. 13 at 6:30 p.m. The group includes Cherry Brook Primary School principal Andy Robbin and sixth-grade teacher Patrick Allen. 

2. Speaking of weather, The National Weather Service is predicting rain, showers and thunderstorms. 

3. Canton Public Library's Thursday evening movie, which starts at 6:30 p.m., is Tangled. 

4. Taking a trip or just commuting to work? Click here to check the DOT's interactive travel map before you leave home.

5. Can't hold out until Sunday's Collinsville Farmers Market? Stop by the farm store at Bristol's Farm on Route 44 or Canton Garden Center near the town Green on Route 44.
