Regional Health District To Host Flu Shot Clinic In Canton

CANTON, CT — A regional health department is hosting a multi-town flu shot clinic next week in Canton for residents of member communities.

The Farmington Valley Health District is conducting the clinic at FVHD headquarters, 95 River Road, Canton, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

The Farmington Valley Health District serves the towns of Avon, Barkhamsted, Canton, Colebrook, East Granby, Farmington, Granby, Hartland, New Hartford and Simsbury.

While Covid has been the dominant illness in recent years regarding vaccination talk, flu vaccines are also seen as key to avoiding serious illness during the cold-weather months.
