CHET Announces 2017 Dream Big! Competition
The CHET competition is a drawing and essay competition for CT students to win money for their future education.

From CHET: Rep. Liz Linehan (D-Cheshire/Southington/Wallingford) is encouraging families to enter their children in the CHET (CT Higher Education Trust) 2017 Dream Big! Competition. Dream Big! is a drawing and essay competition where Connecticut K-8 students can win a $1000 or $500 CHET savings account.
The competition aims to encourage families to think about the importance of higher education for their children’s future, promote saving for college early, and inspire kids to think about how they can use their education to change the world.
“As the parent of three young children, I know that the idea of saving for college can be daunting,” Rep. Linehan said. “This competition is a great way to inspire kids to think about their future and encourage parents to start saving for college. It’s never too early to start.”
