Cliff's Pizza To Reopen In Cheshire
The pizza place, which will be located at 15 South Main Street, will reopen after a 12-year hiatus.

After a 12-year absence, Cliff's Pizza is coming back to Cheshire.
Cliff's Pizza was originally opened in Cheshire in 1965 by Cliff Podaras, and stayed open until about 12 years ago when Podaras got sick, according to the Cheshire Citizen. Now his son, Cliff Podaras, Jr., is reopening the restaurant at the same location at 15 South Main Street, according to The Citizen.
“We’re getting back to the roots,” Podaras told The Cheshire Citizen.
Podaras is planning a soft opening of the store within a few weeks and then to have a grand opening at the end of the month, according to The Cheshire Citizen. The Greek pizza restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner and have much the same menu as the original Cliff's Pizza, according to The Citizen.
“I’m proud my son is continuing the tradition,” Kalliopi Podaras, Podaras' mother, told The Cheshire Citizen. “His father is proud looking down on him.”
