New Track, Turf Field Inspire Cheshire Athletes
The inaugural season for a new track and synthetic turf field at Cheshire High School will be the highlight of athletes' senior year.
This week's rainy weather isn't going to dampen the spirits of Cheshire High School athletes who are looking forward to competing on a new track and turf field this season.
Cheshire Patch talked to two seniors who said their athletic performance on the new surfaces should make for a strong showing this year.
Construction on the project began last week and is expected to be finished by mid-October for the field and mid-November for the track.
