CHESHIRE, CT - (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home) Marie A. Pietroniro, 94, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Anthony Pietroniro who predeceased her in 1979.Marie was born June 10, 1926 in Waterbury daughter of the late Peter and Jenny Pannone.Marie worked at Marshalls and Microtech for many years prior to her recent retirement and considered all she worked with as her second family. Above all Marie will be remembered for her work ethic, and spending time with her family whom she adored.Marie is survived by her children Nicholas and his wife Sherrie Pietroniro of Wolcott, and Rose and her husband Bill Simione of Cheshire; grandchildren Christopher Simione, Samantha Simione, Ashley and her husband Chris DiNino, Brittni and her husband Shawn Fabrizio, and Nicholas Pietroniro and his longtime girlfriend Jesi Bolandrina; great grandchildren Mason, Avery, Carter, Brayden, Anthony and Nico. She was predeceased by her sister Louise Serletti.A private graveside service for Marie will be held in St. Bridget Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
