MONROE, CT — Police are investigating a <a href="https://themonroesun.com/police-reports-someone-tried-to-withdraw-over-9k-from-cheshire-couples-account/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">reported fraud attempt</a> where someone tried unsuccessfully to withdraw $9,300 from a Cheshire couple's account at the Connex Credit Union branch in late November, the Monroe Sun reported. A woman went into the branch and attempted to use a "fraudulent passport" to try and withdraw the funds, the Monroe Sun reported.
