Thursday, June 6 is Business Appreciation Day in Cheshire, highlighted with a free breakfast at Elim Park open to members of the Cheshire business community.
The event, which is being put on by the Town of Cheshire and the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce, is to "express to members of our business community how much we value their commitment to Cheshire and the important role they play in town," according to a post on the chamber's website. The highlight will be a free breakfast at Elim Park at 150 Cook Road in Cheshire on June 6 that begins at 7:30 a.m.
At the breakfast, there will be a full buffet and then a welcome address at 8 a.m. At 8:15 a.m., John L. Lahey, the president of Quinnipiac University, will give the keynote address.
The chamber asks all who are interested to register for the event by June 3. For more information on how to register, click here.
