Once again, the storefront at 851 South Main Street across from McDonalds is vacant, and we want to know: what would you like to see there?
The property is in one of the town's prime retail spots. In addition to having the popular fast food restaurant across the street, two shopping centers are down the street, including the Everybody's Market plaza and the shopping center that includes Staples.
For years the storefront was home to Dunkin Donuts, which several years ago moved to a new, larger building in front of Everybody's. after Dunkin Donuts moved, a seafood restaurant took over and thrived for a while until the recession took hold around 2009.
Juniors Cleaners then took up residence there but only recently closed. The building now sits empty.
