2025 Toy Drives In Clinton: Where To Donate

The holiday season is filled with joy, lights and celebration — but for some families, it can also bring stress and financial strain. Thankfully, communities like ours step up each year to help make the season brighter for every child.

Here are some places in and around Clinton where you can donate toys, gift cards or holiday essentials to support kids and families in need this year. Be sure to reach out directly to each organization to confirm drop-off hours, deadlines and specific items they’re requesting — most drives ask for new, unwrapped gifts.

CT Transit — “Stuff-A-Bus” Holiday Toy Drive

🎁 Connecticut leaders are coming together and requesting members of the community to celebrate the season of giving and donate new, unwrapped toys for children in need this year.

Emerging Leaders Society — Stuff-A-Cruiser Holiday Toy Drive

🎁 The annual toy drive returns to Middletown, collecting new, unwrapped toys, as well as monetary donations to ensure that all children have a wonderful holiday season.
📍Drop-off location: In front of Main Street Market | 386 Main St., Middletown, CT
📅 Donation hours: Dec. 13, 10 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
📌 Those in attendance are welcome to stay the entire event, lend a helping hand or drop off their donation and continue with their day.

CT Lottery — “Give a Child a Toy, Not a Ticket.” Holiday Campaign

🎁 The CT Lottery is partnering with Yale New Haven Hospital’s Toy Closet to provide new, unwrapped toys for children spending the holidays in hospitals.
📍 Drop-off location: CT Lottery Headquarters | 15 Sterling Dr., Wallingford, CT
📅 Donation hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. until Dec. 19
📌 Over the last 11 years, the CT Lottery has donated more than 30,000 toys to programs and continues collecting year-round.

Connecticut Children’s Foundation — Heroes & Helpers Virtual Toy Drive

🎁 This virtual toy drive lets donors give funds so the organization’s Child Life team can hand-select toys and activities tailored to each child’s needs, bringing comfort and joy throughout the year.
📅 Donation dates: Now–Dec. 31
📌 Over 25,000 toys and activities are expected to be provided this year.
