Assisted Living Services Hosts 21st Anniversary Celebration

Nearly 100 Eldercare specialists attended the invitation-only Networking and Shoreline Resources tour and wine tasting at Chamard Vineyards.

From Assisted Living Services Inc.: In appreciation for their partners who provide services to seniors throughout Connecticut and especially along its shoreline, Assisted Living Services, Inc. (ALS) hosted a 21st anniversary celebration event on Thursday, June 1st. Nearly 100 Eldercare specialists attended the invitation-only Networking and Shoreline Resources tour and wine tasting at Chamard Vineyards in Clinton.

“Providing the elderly with ways to keep them safe in their homes as they continue to age is very important and rewarding,” ALS co-owner Ron D’Aquila stated. “We are proud of the unique and innovative ways we have developed to care for thousands of Connecticut’s seniors and individuals with disabilities over the years.”

Ron and his wife, co-founder Sharon D’Aquila, told the attendees how they started the business in a room above the garage in their home in 1996. It quickly expanded and they needed to move twice to larger buildings. The company currently has more than 400 employees servicing the entire state.

“The key to success is to surround yourself with the very best talent – from our Management Team, support staff, to caregivers, all of whom are dedicated to provide outstanding service and care,” shared Ron.

Sharon and Ron also highlighted how the company is family-owned and operated. Their son Mario D’Aquila, MBA, is Director of Business Development and VP of Assisted Living Technologies, Inc. Their other son Nicholas D’Aquila has recently joined the team as Special Project Manager while finishing up his MBA. “We have no doubt that these two very forward-thinking men will create positive changes in the home care delivery system in Connecticut within the near future,” said Ron.

Over the years Assisted Living Services has established itself as a premier agency and has forged trusted relationships with administrators at facilities, elder law attorneys, social workers, and many others in the health care field. As such, the event was an opportunity to share their gratitude and provide attendees an opportunity to network.
