Clinton Chamber Rolls out the Red Carpet for Star Studded Night

Roll out the red carpet for Clinton’s night in the limelight. Local celebrities are volunteering their time to perform as part of Dancing with the Stars on Friday, February 27 at Andrews Memorial Town Hall. Competitors include Selectman Lynn Pinder of WP&S, Joey Fazzino of Liberty Bank, Mario Lupone of Clinton Nurseries Inc., Dave Robertson of Scottish Dave’s Pub, First Selectman Willie Fritz, and Morgan School Teacher, Paul Serenbetz.

As on the show, the competitors will work with coaches, who include Laurent Mullen and Emily Williams of Ballroom Dancin’ Fools, Kris Reaske and Marlene Brown of Body Karma Studio, Sharyn B. Farrell of Dance a Life, and Audrey Warm of the Audrey Warm School of Dance.

There will be a meet-and-greet with the stars on Friday January 9 at Body Karma Studio at 7:00pm when the partner pairings will be announced. This event is free and open for all to attend. Tickets will be on sale for the first time to the public. The cost of tickets is $10 for students, $15 for adults, and $25 for VIP tickets while supplies last.

There will also be three celebrity judges, including NFL Cheerleader Camille Kostek, Miss Connecticut 2014 Acacia Courtney, and Country 92.5 radio host John Cadillac Seville. The judges will receive a rubric to score the pairs, and the winner will receive a trophy and bragging rights. VIP tickets include a chance to meet the judges and preferred seating in the balcony of Town Hall.

Several other businesses will be involved in the event including Station One Hair Salon and Spa, which will be doing hair and makeup for female performers, and Long Island Sounds, which will DJ the event. Businesses can sponsor a commercial break that will be announced in between competitors to promote their businesses.
