Classic Lobster Joint Set To Open In New Digs In Clinton This Week

Construction is complete on the rebuild of a popular shoreline eatery, which will reopen Thursday.

CLINTON, CT β€” Lobster Landing will open for the 2025 season in its new building this week.

"The moment we've all been waiting for!! Opening day for our 2025 season will be Thursday April 24th!!!! Can't WAIT!!!!" Lobster Landing posted on Facebook.

The rebuilding project was finished at the end of last month and was documented in a YouTube video highlighting the transformation.

Construction began on a new seafood shack this past winter after disaster struck in January 2024 at Lobster Landing. A storm flooded the building's interior and knocked it off its pilings.

The new building, a replica of the early 1940s original, is raised four feet and is handicap accessible.

Lobster Landing closed for the season early in 2024 to accommodate construction. The restaurant shuttered in September whereas it usually stays open until the end of December.

Among the highlights are the lobster rolls, which some call the best in New England. Lobster Landing also serves up clam chowder, lobster bisque, subs, salads, and sides.
