Clinton 2023 Election Voter Guide: Candidates, Polling Places
Here's everything you need to know concerning the Clinton local elections, including the candidates, polling places, and voting hours.

CLINTON, CT β On Nov. 7, Clinton residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions. Contested races include: Town Council, Board of Education, Board of Assessment Appeals, Planning and Zoning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Police Commission.
Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of Stateβs website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
Connecticut also allows for Election Day registration at designated centers in each town. People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration. To receive your absentee ballot, complete and sign an application and return it to your Town Clerk, or you can request an absentee ballot online.

Town Council

For Town Council, you will vote for up to four candidates. The Democratic candidates are Henry J. Teskey and Brian M. Roccapriore. The Republican candidates are Chris Aniskovich, Dennis M. Donovan, and Carol D. Walter.
Board of Education
For Board of Education, you will vote for up to three candidates. The Democratic candidates are Alan G. Samet and Jason G. Adler. The Republican candidates are Lawrence C. Pilcher and Catherine A. Staunton.
Board of Assessment Appeals
The Democratic candidate is Margaret A. Testoni. The Republican candidate is David K. Roberts.
Board of Assessment Appeals Alternate
Republican candidate Brian A. Manware is running unopposed.
Planning and Zoning Commission
For Planning and Zoning Commission, you will vote for up to four candidates. The Democratic candidates are Jay S. Mandell and Zachary A. Plouride. The Republican candidates are Edward G. Alberino, Jr., Dylan W. Walter, and Adam Moore.
Planning and Zoning Commission Alternate
Republican candidate Lawrence P. Edwards is running unopposed.
Zoning Board of Appeals
For Zoning Board of Appeals, you will vote for up to two candidates. The Democratic candidate is Thomas E. Shultz. The Republican candidates are Michael A. Shove and Robert J. Corson.
Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate
The Democratic candidate is Maureen Noonan. The Republican candidate is John H. Harrington.
Police Commission
For Police Commission, you will vote for two candidates. The Republican candidate is Paul J. Melanson. The Republican candidates are Bruce N. Farmer and David F. Carroll.
