A Clinton resident won $300,000 on a $1,000,000 Extreme Cash scratch ticket that was sold at Hamden Food Mart at 2370 Dixwell Ave. in Hamden, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
