William Ostrander, 83, died May 24, 2025; a science teacher and assistant headmaster for 44 years, longtime Clinton EMT, avid reader, crossword enthusiast, gourmet cook, Red Sox fan, and semi-pro baseball player, he enjoyed road trips through the Berkshires and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Joyce Elaine Miller, 83, died May 18, 2025; a former United Airlines flight attendant, school nurse, and Director of Admissions, she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in her late sixties and early seventies while helping youth earn their GED at Isles Youth Institute.

Evelyn Louise Bahr Nichols, 100, died May 4, 2025; she worked as a secretary in New York City, was active in scouting and schools while raising her family, and began a second career in retail at Sage-Allen and later Waterford/Wedgwood, retiring at age 88.
