Ecology Camp Open to Clinton Residents
Proceeds from the ecology camp offered through Clinton Parks and Recreation will benefit the Pierson School's Science and Cultural Arts program.

Sitting on the beach building sand sculptures and playing in the water are all great thing for kids to do at the beach this summer but wouldnβt it be great for them to learn about what else makes the beach so great?
Clinton Parks and Rec is offering a half-day ecology camp this summer for Clinton students entering second through sixth grade. The camp is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 15 at Clinton Town Beach.
The announcement says βObserve osprey in flight and witness the majestic great egret speak minnows in the shallow eel grass. Feel a flounder, catch a crab, and understand the feeding behavior of our local invertebrates.β

Buckets and nets will be provided and students should wear shoes that can get wet and dirty!
Instructor Dana Skidmore will give the proceeds from the day to the Pierson Schoolβs Science and Cultural Arts program.Β
