Sgt. Tupper has served our country with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of combat-related incidents and is now wheelchair bound. Sgt. Tupper is a 2002 graduate of Old Saybrook High School, where he was a student-athlete and active member of the community. He is a husband and the proud father to three small children.

A committee to assist Sgt. Tupper was established by his close friends David Perrotti, Scott Schoonmaker, Brian Ziolkovski and David Tupper’s brother-in-law David Chevrette. These four friends, along with family and community friends, are helping Sgt. Tupper transition from his military life to civilian life due to his service-related injury.
