2 Hospitalized After I-95 Crash In Old Saybrook
One lane of Interstate 95 remain closed as a result of the crash, according to the state Department of Transportation.
OLD SAYBROOK, CT β Two people were hospitalized after a rollover crash Thursday morning on Interstate 95 in Old Saybrook, according to the Old Saybrook Fire Department. The crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on the Baldwin Bridge on the northbound side of the highway.
One lane is still closed as a result of the crash as of 1:30 p.m. and traffic was congested for more than 4 miles, according to the state Department of Transportation. Officials say to expect heavy delays to continue in the area.
Fire officials said a container fell into the Connecticut River and was recovered by the Old Saybrook Police Boat.
