Man Caught Going 103 MPH On I-95 In Old Saybrook, State Police Say

A man with a suspended license is accused of reckless driving, according to state police.

OLD SAYBROOK, CT — A man is facing a litany of motor vehicle charges after state police say he was caught going 103 mph.

Troopers were conducting speed enforcement on I-95 in Old Saybrook on Sunday at 11:50 p.m.

A trooper spotted a vehicle that was clocked doing 103 mph in a 65-mph zone.

The trooper pulled the vehicle over and found that the driver had a suspended license and that the vehicle wasn't insured.

Carlos Guaman Cevallos, 41, of New London, was charged with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under suspension, operating without a license, operating a motor vehicle without minimum insurance, and falsifying a marker/license/registration.

He was released after posting $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear April 4 at Middletown Superior Court.
