Man Killed In Head-On Crash In Westbrook, ID Released: State Police
The crash is under investigation.
WESTBROOK, CT — A Chester man was killed in a crash in the town of Westbrook on Wednesday, state police said.
A 2015 Nissan Altima driven by Robert Lewis Jones, 63, of Chester, was traveling northbound on Essex Road/Route 153 at around 6:30 a.m.
A 2023 Jeep Wagoneer driven by a Florida resident was traveling southbound on Essex Road/Route 153 and both vehicles struck each other head-on, state police said.

Jones died as a result of his injuries. The other driver sustained minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Troop F at 860-399-2100.
