Menorah Lighting Coming Up In Old Saybrook
The Chanukah event this week is sponsored by Chabad of the Shoreline.

OLD SAYBROOK, CT β Connecticutβs newest menorah will be lit Thursday, December 7, 6 at PM, on the Old Saybrook Green. Everyone is invited to join the celebration which will include music and holiday treats.
Elizabeth Meyer of Old Saybrook asked Rabbi Yaffe of Chabad of the Shoreline to procure and install the menorah. Elizabeth says, βIt is important for the Jewish community to see a menorah in the center of town. It will serve as a beacon of religious liberty and acceptance.β

Rabbi Yaffe thanks the town of Old Saybrook for joining the more than thirty towns in Connecticut and four towns on the Shoreline with public menorahs including East Haven, Branford, Guilford and Killingworth.
