Motorcyclist Pinned Under Car In Clinton Accident

CLINTON, CT — Firefighters needed to use the Jaws of Life after a motorcyclist was pinned under a car, according to a post from the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the report of a crash Friday at the town transfer station.

Crews arrived to find a motorcyclist pinned beneath the front of a car.

Firefighters used the TL9 lifting device and the Jaws of Life to remove the vehicle and free the trapped person.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

"This incident marks a full-circle moment for the CVFD, as the inventor of the TL9—of T and J Rescue Enterprises, LLC—is a former member of our department," fire officials wrote on Facebook.
