WESTBROOK, CT — Route 1 in Westbrook was <a href="https://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/route-1-in-westbrook-shut-down-after-pedestrian-crash/2676301/?_osource=SocialFlowTwt_CTBrand" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">shut down</a> Monday night following a car crash involving a pedestrian, according to NBC CT. The pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The crash at Boston Post Road and Linden Avenue remains under investigation. The road has since reopened.
