"Please restrict all travel on Saturday and early Sunday to essential only," the Clinton Fire Department said.

In light of the snowstorm forecasted for this weekend, the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department shared the following advice, tips and reminders:
As with all inclement weather forecasts it is subject to change, but prepare now. Waiting until the snow is falling is not the time to be on the roads. Please restrict all travel on Saturday and Early Sunday to essential only. Youβll be safer, we will be safer, and our friends at the DPW will be able to clear the roads faster.
- Light to moderate snowstorm expected to impact our area on saturday... 6-10 inches for CT coast.

The latest computer models are in fair to good agreement on the track of this weekendβs storm however there is a very sharp dividing line between the heavy snow expected to our south and the light to moderate snow expected here in Connecticut. Towns are encouraged to closely monitor future forecasts for any changes in the storm track.
