Restaurant Will Open 2nd Location At Noted Clinton Spot
A restaurant with an Old Lyme location will open at the former site of a cafe that had been in business for over 30 years.
CLINTON, CT β A restaurant will be opening a second location at the former site of Coffee Break in Clinton.
The Hangry Goose, an Old Lyme breakfast-and-lunch spot, will be opening at 27 E. Main St. in Clinton.
The owners wrote on Facebook: "Weβre proud to share that weβve purchased The Coffee Break in Clinton, CT from Donna and Fran β who have poured over 30 years of heart, hard work, and community into this place. Weβre incredibly grateful to them for trusting us to continue the story they built. Truly, thank you.

"Our second location will be The Hangry Goose β Clinton, and while weβll be bringing our own flavors and familiar energy, our goal is simple: Create a warm, welcoming spot that feels like home β just as it always has."
The menu includes eggs Benedict, a range of omelets, sandwiches, wraps, pancakes, waffles, burgers, quesadillas, and more.

The Hangry Goose's Old Lyme location is also open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday.
News of the Clinton opening garnered over 1,300 reactions and 191 comments.
One commenter said: "This is outstanding. The Hangry Goose is a great operation, and will be a welcome addition to Clinton, keeping a valuable location active."
Coffee Break previously occupied the spot. The owners announced they would be closing the shop last month. The family restaurant had been in business since 1994.
