Rob Osso Wants You! (To Come To His Car Show!)

There are many reasons to come to the Third Annual Car Show on June 1st at the North Madison Congregational Church in North Madison. 

There will be a prize raffle with a wide variety of prizes including a round of golf at Yale Golf Club. There will be hot dogs, hamburgs, and other good eats. Rob Osso, the organizer, will be acting as DJ and he promises us lots of great music from the 50's and 60's with a little Sinatra and Tony Bennett thrown in "for the old-timers." 

But the biggest reason of course will be all of the awesome show cars like Rob's '65 Mustang. His first car, he bought it 34 years ago when he first got his driver's license as a young man in the military. "That's what started this whole thing," he says. 

He loves that car and he's sure you will too, along with all of the other show cars. Last year there were 38 and this year he expects even more. "They tell me I'm going to need a better parking lot and I sure hope so," he said. 

This year people who come will be able to vote for a "People's Choice" award. And there will be many other prize categories for the show cars as well. 

The weather is supposed to cooperate this year but if it doesn't the rain date is June 8th. General admission is free. Show cars are $10 each.
