Several Dogs Killed In Clinton House Fire: Reports
The fire is currently under investigation by the Clinton Fire Marshal's Office.
CLINTON, CT — Multiple dogs were killed in a fire that broke out at a home in Clinton on June 21, according to local media reports.
Firefighters were called to a home in the 100 block of Glenwood Road shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to CT Insider. A passerby reported smoke and flames coming from the rear of the home.
The residents were not home at the time of the fire, but an interior search found several dogs that had died, FOX61 said, noting it took a little over 30 minutes to bring the fire under control.

A nearby propane tank vented after being exposed to heat from the blaze, FOX61 reported.
The Clinton Fire Department said on Facebook it operated at the scene for three hours. The fire is under investigation by the Clinton Fire Marshal's Office.
